休眠顧客、休眠口座を英語で何と言う？
普通にネットで調べると、休眠をそのまま直訳して、dormantという単語を使っています。
例えば、
休眠口座 dormant bank account
休眠顧客 dormant customer
間違えではないと思いますが、あまりビジネスの世界では聞きませんでした（笑）
休眠顧客は、inactive customer
休眠口座 inactive accounts という感じで、
inactive インアクティブという言葉を使う方がビジネス英語の世界では普通でした。
顧客が金融機関の口座に預けてある株式を全部売却して口座解約する場合、顧客の手間を軽減できると共に金融機関が休眠口座を減らすことができるようにする。
To reduce trouble of a customer when the customer sells all stocks deposited to an account of a financial institution and closes the account, and to allow the financial institution to reduce inactive accounts.
